By accessing or using SymptomGPT ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.
2. Medical Disclaimer
SymptomGPT is NOT a medical device, medical diagnosis tool, or healthcare provider. The Service provides general health information for educational purposes only. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
You should always consult a qualified healthcare professional before making any health-related decisions. Never disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of information provided by SymptomGPT.
If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 or your local emergency number immediately.
3. User Accounts
You may create an account using Google Sign-In. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activities that occur under it.
4. Free and Pro Plans
- Free Plan: Includes 3 lifetime symptom checks with basic assessments.
- Pro Plan: Paid subscription providing unlimited symptom checks, detailed reports, treatment options, and PDF downloads. Pricing is as listed on the Pricing page at the time of purchase.
5. Subscriptions & Billing
Pro subscriptions are billed monthly or yearly through Stripe. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Upon cancellation, you will retain Pro access until the end of your current billing period. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems.
- Use automated tools to scrape or extract data from the Service.
- Misrepresent SymptomGPT results as professional medical advice.
- Share your account credentials with others.
7. Intellectual Property
All content, features, and functionality of SymptomGPT are owned by SymptomGPT and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, SymptomGPT shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the Service. SymptomGPT is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.
9. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
